The Farthest from Here by ~DemonAkela:iconDemonAkela:

I want to fly, to move beyond
this place, the farthest I can be
from here. To experience a strange
way, to learn. I want to see
something new, to shake a new
hand, to see a new face. I feel
bound to this place I live, so many
ties holding me down. Faces of
everyday, routines methodical in
thier pace. Every dissapointment
something I cannot alter, cannot
control. I desire change, no more
of this static existence. I wish to
leave the path and lose myself.
I want to be the farthest from here.

This is how I have recently been feeling. Daily confusions and this and that are making me want to dissapear, though I know very well it would be the selfish thing to do. I just wish a could have the opportunity to get out and be me for a short while, no ties, no deadline, just me and those whom I cherish and love. No family...no expectations...

Beautiful, meaningful work Cassi. I find your structure very different and refreshing. And I think many people can relate to the static feel of life, like it's one never ending cycle of the same. You seem to feel restrained, not being able to be the way you wish to be. I like your poetry Cassi. It's all very rich and deep in emotion and meaning. I love it :D

You may be stuck,
in a trial.
But I am here,
here,
to make you smile.

Im not going to be able to give the best critique seing as i havent typed for a few days, my hands are blistered, sunburned and sore and im reeeally tired but...Ill try.

Very good work babe, I know exactly how you feel. The world always seems to work so well with a schedule and timing but it gets so monotonus and boring that you need to do something out of the ordinary and fun for a change. I really wish that you and I could go on a roadtrip to somewhere for an unspecified amount of time but with parents and school looming close it wouldnt be possible. Love you.
